31S SM MM Active Fibre Fusion Splicer
The Fujikura 31S is a fully ruggedized, active cladding alignment fusion splicer. The two-camera, active cladding alignment system provides consistent splicing performance in the most challenging conditions. A 6-second splice time and 25-second shrink time offers unmatched speed and productivity, while an easy-to-use touchscreen monitor provides simple and intuitive menu navigation.
Interchangeable sheath clamps or fibre holders provide versatility for user preference and compatibility with fusion-installable connectors.
The extended-life battery is rated for up to 200 splice and heat cycles. Long-life electrodes, lasting 5,000 splices, help minimize downtime for replacement and stabilization.
The large 5″ monitor provides a crystal clear image, even in the brightest sunlight. Software updates are accomplished via the internet allowing users to quickly update their software as new splice programs become available.

Most new items are covered by a 1-year fault warranty. If your item arrives damaged or becomes faulty within one year of the purchase date, you may contact us for a refund, exchange, or repair.
Important Warranty Notes
- The 30-day and 1-year warranties only cover faults in the product and do not apply to:
- Change-of-mind returns.
- Faults caused by misuse, operation outside the manufacturer’s guidelines, physical damage, or water ingress.
- Mechanical devices may require periodic servicing due to environmental factors or excessive usage. Such servicing is not covered under warranty and will incur standard service charges.
- Due to the unique nature of second-hand equipment, certain items may be exempt from the standard 30-day warranty. Please refer to the warranty details listed with the product description for specific coverage.
