Fujikura FID-25R Fibre Optic Identifier
The FID-25R is a fibre identifier that detects dark fibre lit with 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz modulated tones.
Advanced Features:
- High-sensitive performance dedicated for bend-Insensitive Fibres (BIF) identification
- Capability for weak tone signal detection over strong traffic signal
- Wide range optical power meter equipped in FID-25R (Max. +10dBm)
- 15 user-selectable test modes for variety of field application
- The full test mode performs all identification tests at the same time by one-time fibre clamping
- Advanced fibre clamping head design requires very short excess testing length of the optical fibre

- Easy access to the target fibre in narrow space with thin and long head body
- Simple and automatic operation by just clamping the fibre
- LCD screen and LED illuminations for easy-viewable indication
- Signal direction discrimination function and live fibre identification function available

New Items
Most new items are covered by a 1-year fault warranty. If your item arrives damaged or becomes faulty within one year of the purchase date, you may contact us for a refund, exchange, or repair.
Important Warranty Notes
- The 30-day and 1-year warranties only cover faults in the product and do not apply to:
- Change-of-mind returns.
- Faults caused by misuse, operation outside the manufacturer’s guidelines, physical damage, or water ingress.
- Mechanical devices may require periodic servicing due to environmental factors or excessive usage. Such servicing is not covered under warranty and will incur standard service charges.
- Due to the unique nature of second-hand equipment, certain items may be exempt from the standard 30-day warranty. Please refer to the warranty details listed with the product description for specific coverage.
