The FITEL S179 Hand-Held, Core Alignment Fusion Splicer offers powerful performance, delivering fast and reliable optical fibre splicing even under harsh environmental conditions.
By combining speed, precision, durability, portability and state-of-the-art communication methods in one unit, this fusion splicing machine opens the door to an entirely new range of applications.
The FITEL S179 Fusion Splicer is highly effective for use in data centres, long- haul operations, Metro, LAN, and FTTx fibre, including ultra bend-insensitive fibres as well as large area effective fibres.

SHIPPING
Postage charges paid at checkout do not include any import duties, fees or taxes in the destination country international buyers are responsible for custom/clearance fees.
Australian based orders are send using Australia Post with tracking
International orders are sent through Australia Post/UPS with tracking.
Some items that contain batteries may have to have the batteries removed prior to sending to your location.
RETURN POLICY
All return costs are to be paid for by the buyer.
Return is accepted if equipment does not work as described. Goods must be returned in original condition within 30 days of purchase with any seals in place, in original packaging and not damaged in any way.
Partial refunds may be issued if goods are used, tampered with or damaged during return process.

Most used items sold by FLUXNET Equipment are covered by a 30-day fault warranty. If your item arrives damaged or becomes faulty within 30 days of purchase, you may contact us for a refund, exchange, or repair.
New Items
Most new items are covered by a 1-year fault warranty. If your item arrives damaged or becomes faulty within one year of the purchase date, you may contact us for a refund, exchange, or repair.
Important Warranty Notes
- The 30-day and 1-year warranties only cover faults in the product and do not apply to:
- Change-of-mind returns.
- Faults caused by misuse, operation outside the manufacturer’s guidelines, physical damage, or water ingress.
- Mechanical devices may require periodic servicing due to environmental factors or excessive usage. Such servicing is not covered under warranty and will incur standard service charges.
- Due to the unique nature of second-hand equipment, certain items may be exempt from the standard 30-day warranty. Please refer to the warranty details listed with the product description for specific coverage.
